Stella Nderitu

Stella Nderitu is a communicator, youth trainer and speaker. She is passionate about Young Women’s Participation in Governance and has special interest in their education and engagement in Politics and Leadership. She is a mentor to many teenage girls, who she empowers through her community initiative, DadaPower, in Murang’a County, Kenya.​

She is a Programme Officer at Emerging Leaders Foundation where she is in charge of the Governance program.

Stella is an expert in organizational communication, young women’s participation in governance, youth programs and digital strategies for social change. She has a rich experience in running Mentorship programmes especially in rural public schools.

She holds a BA in Political Science and Communication from the University of Nairobi;​Certificate in Political Leadership and Governance Programme from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES-Kenya) and a certificate in Elections Observation from International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC). She is an alumnus of Emerging Leaders Foundation Mentorship program – class of 2014.
