Dr. Musimbi Ondeko
Dr. Musimbi Ondeko is a chiropractic doctor running a private practice in Nairobi, Kenya. She graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA, and serves as a member of her alma mater’s Board of Regents. Earlier, Dr. Ondeko graduated from the Lester B. Pearson United World College (UWC) of the Pacific in Vancouver, Canada, which is one of the unique colleges that promotes international understanding. Her experience at this college inspired her interest in leadership leading her to serve as chairperson of the Kenya National Committee of UWC and member of the International Board of UWC. In these capacities she travelled to the “four corners” of the world, which exposed her to different nations and cultures enriching her international experience. This created a desire to see good servant leaders of integrity in Kenya and around the world. Dr. Ondeko facilitates leadership training at Transforming Leadership Seminars (TLS) and the Oakseed Leadership Course (OSELC) while serving as a member of the Institute for National Transformation and serves as a member on The International Leadership Foundation (ILF)–Kenya Board. She also serves on the executive committee of the Executive Leadership Network (ELNET), which networks leaders of integrity to spearhead the holistic transformation of Kenya and beyond. Dr. Ondeko is the national chairperson of the Progressive Leadership Forum, which nurtures and mentors servant leaders of integrity. She is also the current chair of the Ex-Kenya High School Christian Fellowship which gives spiritual, mentoring and other support to maintain the school’s standards.
Dr. Musimbi Ondeko is married to Dr. John N. Ondeko and they have three sons and a daughter.
