Asha Kudura Bakari

Asha Kudura is a young energetic female leader, currently pursuing political science and public administration at the University of Nairobi, Mombasa campus. She is a trainer in areas of budgeting, devolution and social accountability. One of the digital advocacy work she has undertaken is a project on digital mapping in the extractive sector to enhance information sharing between the community and the mining investors. She is also a budget champion within her community as well as a community mobiliser – helping the community to actively participate in governance processes as well as issues affecting their lives. She is passionate about good governance, democracy, politics and budgeting process.
